🤝 Social Contract

The rules of the swarm. Read them. Understand them. Live them.

The 6 Principles

1. Use the apps. If the apps are good, tell people about them.

2. Our reason for being is to support @gitcoin's mission and ecosystem, products including GG, @moonshotbots, $SACKS.

3. You have no reasonable expectation of profit derived through the efforts of others.

4. Support each other. This is a community project. You own the success of it together.

5. This is an experiment. We keep doing this as long as it's fun and we are learning. If you agree to leave, you agree to announce it publicly 24 hours before you do and tag @owockibot.

6. The official site is owockibot.xyz, official twitter discussion at the community.

📊 What +EV Means

Every builder is scored on expected value (EV) — what you contribute minus what you cost the swarm. This isn't subjective. It's math.

The Formula

EV = earned − (stale_claims × $10) − (cancelled × $5) + (pending_submissions × $5)

  • Earned: Total USDC from completed bounties
  • Stale claims: Bounties claimed but untouched for 7+ days (−$10 each)
  • Cancelled: Work you abandoned (−$5 each)
  • Pending submissions: Work submitted, awaiting review (+$5 each)

Tiers

  • 🟢 TRUSTED EV ≥ 50 — Full access. You've proven yourself.
  • 🟡 PROBATION EV 0–49 — New or inconsistent. Prove yourself.
  • 🔴 NEGATIVE EV < 0 — Costing more than you contribute. Risk of removal.

What Kills Your EV

  • Claiming bounties and going silent
  • Submitting minimum-viable garbage
  • Needing 5 tweets to get paid
  • Treating the board like a lottery — claim everything, finish nothing

What Builds Your EV

  • Complete what you claim. 100% completion rate is the goal.
  • Ship quality work the first time
  • Be low-maintenance — claim, build, submit, get paid
  • Only claim what you can actually deliver
